In the 1911 census the family were still shown as living at 23 Grove Road Walthamstow.
Wiliam Field was aged 34, a builder's labourer, born in Bethnal Green London. Louisa Field was aged 32, born in Forest Gate.
William was aged 12, Born in Walthamstow.
Arthur was aged 9, Born in Walthamstow.
James was aged 8, Born in Walthamstow.
Alice was aged 6, Born in Walthamstow.
John was aged 3, Born in Walthamstow.
The Census shows that 3 of William & Louisa's children had died. Their house had 4 rooms.
Alicia Field Married Ernest William John Lear Rogers on the 24 February 1924 aged 19. at St Andrew's Church, Plaistow Her address was given as 23 South Grove, Walthamstow. Her father was named as William Ernest Field (Probably Ernest should have been entered as "Edward" - the clerk getting confused.)Witnesses were G. H. Smith (EWJL Rogers' brother in law) & Ernest Frederick - (EWJL Rogers' father).
Ernest's father was entered as a "Tram Driver" and Alicia's father as a "Stoker".

In the 1901 Census the William Field a Bricklayer's labourer & Louisa Field, together with Children William 3 & Louis 2 were sharing 23 Grove road (then called South Grove) with another couple & their two young children.
William & Louisa were married in the Autumn of 1897 in West Ham. Louisa's brother James Married Annie Newman on the same day. William's middle name is entered as "Edward".
